Sigh, the last minute things are killing me. Already got booked to work, if only I knew a day earlier. At least, I will be at the opener.

You also have a very compressed schedule this year. If my math is correct, Jan 19 to the end of April is 101 days. I've seen something like April 27 as a rumored last day to the regular season, so that would make it less than 100. If they're going to be playing pretty much every second day, that's not going to leave a whole lot of open time during the season for events. It's unfortunate but there's only so much that could be done.

I think there are more important things going on during that time period than a meet the players. Like a playoff push.

This is my first year as a STH, so a few questions to those more familiar. Will there be more events like this or is it only once a year?

Also, was it crowded last year? Would I actually be able to take pictures with each of the players and get their autographs or will I be rushed through an assembly line?

It's only once a year and unfortunately, it's super crowded. You'll get a flyer when you're lining up (to get inside) that will tell you which players are at what section/area. Most players are put in pairs, sometimes there are 3 of them. Although last year, Dustin Brown was alone and his line was loooooooong.

Expect to only get in about 3-4 lines, which will net you about 8-9 signatures. That's what I've been averaging the last few years anyway.

The general rule is to let a player sign one item, and then you snap a photo with the player. Though there are rude people who break the rules by having players sign 10+ items. Hopefully it gets policed this year to get the lines moving faster for sure...

Lets not forget Tip a King. I would not be surprised if it does not happen though.

Having said that, I am really debating going. I wonder what I can slang these tix for..... hhhhmmmmm.... maybe in exchange, get me my 16x20 on ice team Cup picture signed????
