Wow, that was a very fair, and IMO, accurate analysis of the team. I especially liked the part when they said the Kings were poised to repeat!

Nice collection of articles. Hope they keep putting them out through the lockout.

Wow! NHL.com is all KINGS today.....cool. And so many positive comments on the 30 in 30 article from fans of other teams. So surreal to see Red Wings fans and East Coast fans saying they think the Kings have a great shot at repeating!

Default After reading the NHL 30 in 30....prospects

We all know the team is back next yr, but after reading the articles on NHL.com its seems so clear now of the DL signings and the durations given the prospects in the system.

For ex, Fras and Stoll are signed for 2 and 3 yrs. Taffoli maybe making the jump from the 67's to the A this yr and maybe seasoning him for a yr or 2 and then maybe 3rd line center with Stoll moving to the 4th. Taffoli would also push the vets.

With Drewiske a UFA after this season, maybe Muzz or Hickey can make the jump.

Not as clear, however with Gagne and Penner only signed for another yr, King moves up to the 2nd line or try Taffoli on wing . Just a thought. Or Pearson gets a look.

At any rate, its exciting to be a Kings fan today. Having won the cup, returning all the players and prospects that can push the vets.

    Thoughts?

From what I understand Toffoli is a natural Right Winger so I don't see Stolls job being taken over by Toffoli. If anyone takes Stolls spot I believe it would be Loktionov, but Toffoli could definitely have a shot at replacing Gagne after his contract is up.

They've been featuring every team one day during August, and they saved the best (the KINGS!!!!) for last.
