    STAY AWAYYY
Since signing the deal with NBC it's really ruined my experience. I have had GC on my Roku for the last 2 years. No playoffs, No sharks / Kings (I am also in Sharklandia)
I really paid a big price this playoffs and watched the entire thing on my PC which was crap. I won't make the mistake again. If you love to watch HD clear picture and don't want to miss a game just get cable (and I really hate saying that)
If you are OK watching on your laptop then get center ice but expect to have to make tough decisions come playoff time.

I was going to say the same thing...I'm in home entertainment consulting and what blows my mind are people that I encounter, are so quick to want spend the money on a 1080p HDTV, or 4k TVs, but aren't willing to pony up the extra $10-$20 for the HD channels...my in-laws are like that.

It nuts to try and watch a SD feed of a game on 65" TV
    SirJW and Annapurna like this.

I don't see why NHL gamecenter can't add a log in function like NBC. If you have cable and NHL gamecenter, why can't you watch Kings games online when you are away from home (like at work). So stupid.

Especially since you still would watch advertising, I don't get this either...

With NHL GC, I can save a lot considering I don't watch that much TV outside of NHL games. On top of that, I will benefit from the HD live streaming. Having said that, I did hear that if you log in with an IP that is within the Kings' market, you will not be able to watch their live games and will have to wait until they are archived under NHL volt. What about live games on NBCSN (regular season & playoffs)? Are they available on GC? I know there is a way around the IP stuff. One can always subscribe to those fake IP website such as HMA to re-route into a different IP address outside of the market. But wouldn't that slow the connection and cause the broadcast to be choppy?

Would like to hear those with GC experiences with regards to live Kings games & live NBCSN games. That way I can make a decision regarding this. Many thanks!
i used proxy (StrongVPN $9.99usd/month) last season few times, no problem :P they check proxy only on start after even turn off it works as long as the stream is on
