How bout the face that they only sell jerseys for about 11 teams?

I know people who sell at Frank and Sons, and they told me the police came one Saturday morning a year or so ago and busted all the vendors who were selling bootleg jerseys and dvds. Now the cops do a routine check so everything at Frank and Sons should be legit, but because they are legit it's either pricey or second hand.
My family bought a bootleg Kopi jersey online for my birthday a couple of years ago. Even worst it had a fake auto that clearly isn't Kopitar's. To this day I have not told them it's fake, and I have worn it a couple of times at Staples where I get the stares from people who know it's fake. The Chinese think if they slap on a fight strap and throw on a tag that says made in Canada that people will be fooled. Well they are right because if you go to a Ontario Reign game everyone is wearing those jerseys.
I suggest looking on ebay for people who are selling in bulk non popular players, or players who recently left. For example there is a guy who keeps throwing up Greene and Martinez jerseys, so I decided to bid on a Martinez and won it for $30 shipping included. I expected it to be a bootleg, but to my surprise it actually ended up being the real deal. I can see this guy living on the east coast buying a bunch of Martinez and Greene jerseys in bulk for dirt cheap, and being able to sell them at a fraction of the retail price. Not that much demand on the east coast for that, and it makes sense because I have seen Sidney Crosby jerseys sell at Champs outlet here in Industry for $20. There are a few old Simmonds jerseys that look legit for under 50 on ebay. As for Kopitar, Quick, Doughty, or Brown, forget about buying those jerseys for cheaper than retail unless Team LA is having a sale. If you find those jerseys for cheap online, it's probably a bootleg.

My cousin used to have a booth there and a guy a couple booths down sells legit second hand jerseys. I bought my gf a kids sized jersey from him. He usually has teams other than the kings. He had a few Rangers jerseys and redwings. They usually have awesome Kings autograped items at frank and sons too.
So can we all take from this to buy your jersey from nhl.com or rivercitysports.com? I mean, come on people, if you want a quality jersey.....PAY FOR IT! The real ones are expensive b/c they are quality. If it's 50% off and even looks a tiny bit funny then don't buy the damn thing. If you don't have the money, save it up. Don't wonder and they buy something that you will regret. It seems we're seeing these types of threads quite a bit lately.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!

That or go on fan appreciation day when a lot of the jerseys are up to 50% off. There's also the Team LA store summer sale in July. Usually I pick up a new blank replica on the summer sale for dirt cheap, although this year's selection was pretty crummy. Also I swear I found a bootleg jersey on the rack this season at Team LA. I think some store employee was dumb enough to take accept a bootleg for a return, so don't even trust the people you are suppose to trust to sell you the legit thing.
