Thread: No more PA announcement at the end of a Power Play?

Maybe I'm just trippin', but did they stop announcing "Full Strength [[insert team name here]]" at the end of a power play?

I don't remember an announcement like that ever being made.

I think it's a AHL thing not NHL thing.

I have never recalled them doing that in the NHL. You must be thinking of the ECHL as they announce that during the Reign game.

I've heard it at the Ducks before, but I think that's been a few years.

I don't ever recall such an announcement being made at Kings games, either at the Forum or Staples.

Makes sense. Typically happens in venues where the audience is assumed to not really be that hep to the game.

I do want to add (because I just remembered) that PA Announcers will make announcements if the clock isn't working on the jumbotron.
