This is one thing that fans can take a stand against. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. What is the point. How can you enjoy it when there is a lockout?

Anyone think the DVD will ever be sold by itself? I just want the DVD. Drinking beer/whiskey and watching the Kings win a Cup is great fun. I'm just not sure about drinking beer and reading.

I'm not sure I follow your logic on not enjoying the book during the lockout. I enjoy this website during the lockout and it's also about hockey. I enjoy the fact that the Kings won the cup despite there being a lockout. The lockout doesn't mean that I suddenly hate every aspect of the sport until it returns, it just means that I miss watching hockey.
I have paid enough to the Kings over my lifetime. This book/dvd won't bring me more enjoyment especially now that there is not continuity in the story over money. Money that is supposed to bring happiness. NHL is as much as the fans/consumers sport as it is the owners and the players. This is one area where we can show that we don't need to pay extra money while they are dithering fighting over money.
They both think the fans will be there when the lockout ends. A message like this can show them that no, we are not lemmings.
I am not the only one to think this. The first few posts at Rich Hammond's site were basically the same thing.

I don't agree with "go" on the boycott of the book and DVD, but I do believe it's pretty cheap of Kings marketing to ONLY package them together. That sucks.
