At first I didn't think that the entire game was on it, but if it's just clips of the game here and there, that's gonna be one damn short DVD in terms of run time. I think the exclusive clips of each Kings goal is going to be similar to what KV released of Williams Game 5 goal where footage of Bob and Jim are the focus of it, and if so, it will be awesome!
Because Bob Miller and Nick Nickson don't work together and nick doesn't do TV. It sounds like the goals are being highlighetd. If they were showing the whole game, why would there be a need for exclusive footage of each Kings goal call indicated separately. It sounds like highlights to me based on the way it was phrased.
It could be that you have the choice to watch the game on the DVD with Nicks' call or Bob's call but the fact that they are including Nick's call muddys the water a bit.
Ultimately, when they say "calls of the game" it probably means the whole game as opposed to highlights, but it might not.
Bought the thing anyway.
The description of the dvd is lacking to say the least. It's a little muddy...
I don't think that's an issue at all. Secondary audio tracks are common on DVDs and do not take up that much space. That's not to say the DVD will definitely have the entire game on it. Like I said in my post above, if the exclusive footage is like the clip Kings Vision posted of Bob and Jim making the call, with the game footage itself being secondary, I will be ecstatic.
just called the 877 number, they've gone well over 10,000 already, or so however that clueless schmuck on the phone said. I told him that he should start being more informed about the whole deal before answering the phones first, then hung up.
I BELIEVE I'll have another beer!
I was kind of hoping there would some "goal highlight" clips, similar to what NHL On-The-Fly does for each of the Kings games in the playoffs. Too much to ask I guess.....
