Thread: Official 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings Book with Bob Miller call DVD

Has anyone heard anything recently about the release date of the special issue to be released by the Kings? Supposedly, it will have some of Bob's calls from the SC, etc.

Hammond hasn't mentioned it in awhile, and with a lockout looming, it will sure fill the hockey void for many of us diehards especially those who have already whizzed thru the NHL-issued DVD.

STHs recently received an e-mail offering an opportunity to purchase -- at a "discounted" price of $50 prior to general public sale -- a "limited edition" championship book "filled with unforgettable photographs and written contributions from key members of the LA Kings family." The e-mail said more details were to come but did not mention anything about an accompanying DVD or anything like that. If they want to get $50 (or more when it is offered to the general public) for a book, it sure as hell better come with something extra!

$50??? sure as hell hope that it doesn't cover AEG's business expenses in relation to the CBA talks.

I heard all about it recently. It sounds freaking awesome.

If its a hardcover book that comes with a BluRay, I'm down to fork over $50 to Lappy! to hook a brotha up.

C'mon Doc, do share some deets with the peeps!!! Will it include a DVD? Bob's calls? Of which games? Complete games, if only the finals?

It's going to be a paperback book with rice paper pages and an included BETA tape as a bonus.
