There was a significant drop off for him after the lockout. Sure, his best days were as a Blackhawk but he was down right atrocious when hockey came back. Brett Hull had the same problem and retired a couple weeks into the season.

It had nothing to do with the lockout. His stakes didn't fit....

It turned out later that they were sharpened correctly and they fit correctly. He was just putting them on the wrong feet.

Well what?

If you don't care about the banner being raised, that's fine. I think to many of us it is the final step in this incredible journey; there was the playoffs, then actually winning it in Game 6, the Cup being awarded, the Championship parade and finally the raising of the championship banner.

I don't really see why this would be something that only a child would enjoy. No need to project your cynicism on everyone else.
