The fact is NONE of us have a friggen clue. At best the fans can watch the game and comment on the how the players are playing. That's about it. Of course, we all have opinions and have a right to express however ignorant it might be. This is why arguing about this is a complete waste of time.

I don't give a s**t who gets what or how they do it. These clowns need to keep talking and I don't care who offends who or how "tense" the negotiations are. That's their ******ing job. All we want is to watch our favorite sport again...you know...sometime before next century would be nice.

No it's not. The contracts remain the same subject to the cap percentage of revenue. It's been that way for seven years. The players didn't get the full value of their contracts last year. The NHL are honoring the contracts subject to the provisions of the CBA.

Effectively the players lose some money with the split at 50/50 but the owners are honoring the contracts.

This is not a situation where they are asking for an automatic rollback.

All this discussion of HRR, I hope they are considering that their numbers will drop a lot. Many fans will not return because of this lockout. I know of many people who are done with the NHL. I live in Nevada now and I won't be spending any money on games or any NHL merchandise. Yes, I'm still a fan of course but I think it's going to difficult for the league to recover from this. A simple "Thank You Fans" painted on the ice will not suffice.
