The point was that the arena companies worst fiscal year was during the lockout. In other words, the Panthers drove the profitability.

They aren't giving up anything. They're styill making GUARANTEED exorbitant amounts of money to play a game. They are still getting their contracts, which everyone knew could go down because all contracts are based on the CBA.

Comments like this make me want to go kick some players in the nuts... then run like hell and hope they don't catch me.
Maybe somebody here can have a car that I can jump in to.


It's purely emotional, but I'm far more disappointed in the players. Owners getting all the money they can out of a business shouldn't be shocking to anyone. Players bitching because they have to share a room with someone really illustrates what whiney little bitches a lot of these guys have become, and shown it's not about the game as much as what they can get from it.

They're human, and they're entitled, but it still makes me sad. I wanted to believe they just wanted to play.
It's clearly not the case.

what does "fiscal year" exactly mean? was it the worst revenue year? or was it the worst profitability year? the way they wrote about it makes it totally unclear.
