from a very reliable source, he owns the land that vancouver's arena is built on. He is Canadian and had to move back because he makes too much money, told me that the NHL will be locked out, but hockey WILL be back by the winter classic. He is best friends with the GM of the Rangers and is close friends with the GM of Vancouver. Hockey will be back by the winter classic because the NHL will owe NBC 100 million if that game is not played. So there will be hockey, im just pissed I have to wait for the banner to be hung in the rafters.

I just read an article that makes sense. Basically, Bettman is playing chicken with Fehr. He wants to get the revenue split back to 50/50 and a couple of other things like shorter contracts, and that's why he's asking for the moon.

They'll have to have a deal done by no later than December 10th or so to have a strike shortened season start on January 1st with the Winter Classic. The Xmas holiday would seriously muck up a 2 week training camp.

I say we start a movement to boycott anything nhl until this gets resolved. there's probably not much, but still got to be people buying nhl stuff. boycott every piece of merchendise. is this doable. will it actually put a dent in anything? anyone? anyone?

But without NHL 13 I don't have NHL at all.

I'm doing my own protest if an agreement isnt made by Sept 15. I'm calling it "Lockout with your cockout". Who's with me?
