Even with the Kings winning the Stanley Cup.. how many of you fellow fans are as apathetic over this labor battle as I am?

Don't get me wrong. I love Kings hockey. But there are other things in my life too. At the end of the day. It is just entertainment.

I wouldn't say I'm apathetic over it, but yes, there are other things.

There was a time, though, when my world revolved around Kings hockey, so I get why some people freak.

I do care but at the end of the day, I'll just play hockey myself or travel. I'll find ways to occupy my time. Yeah, I'll miss watching the best hockey in the world but this is their fight. They are the ones that need my money not the other way around.

I just don't get how the NHL can brag about record revenue and then cry poor. B#tch move NHL. Kind of like Apple boasting about how much money they make and then telling all their employees that they need to take a pay cut. I do get the owners trying to squeeze more cash. It's a business not a charity but they are acting like they have school on sunday; no class.

So I'll put Fish, JETSGARAGE and myself on a line. We need to flesh my new beer league out.

Luckily pron hasn't gone on strike.

It is true that there are other things. However hockey is my escape for all the other stresses of life, which is its purpose as a form of entertainment. Because of that I can't call myself apathetic.

A lockout will make me so angry, I'll post on facebook about it. I might even put a hashtag on something, which I hear doesn't do anything on facebook.

I'm hoping the bumping down of some NHL bodies to Manchester will trickle down to Ontario. Maybe we'll get to see someone like Czarnik or Deslauriers...
