he's right though.

there is never going to be 100% culpability on either side of a labor dispute. but in this instance - this particular time, the owners are highly at fault here.

When the business loses money, the workers will soon not have a place to work any longer. Workers don't profit or lose money, they just get a salary.

we don't. that's why there is such a thing called antitrust laws. and if you even think that business associations and chambers of commerce have anywhere near the pull of a union, you have massive blinders on.

why is it that when owners seek to maximize profits they may be considered greedy but justifiably so, but when workers do the same they are illegitimately greedy?

again, workers just get a salary. they don't "profit".
