Someone should ask him why that has been owners strategy for 20 years......oh wait, nevermind.

the problem with the nhl's solution is that, at best, it will allow the poor teams to eke out a very tiny profit while only adding to the tremendous wealth of the few rich teams.

Seattle and Salt Lake City they will support teams.

Just saw on the ticker from CBS Sports Network,that the NHL and NHLPA are going to continue negotiations over the weekend.Should be interesting on how much fireworks are going to be set off by the end of these negotiations.

NHL is supposed to be meeting with advertisers on Wednesday which may be the reason for the push. If this is not settled quickly, a lot of the advertisers are going to put their dollars elsewhere.

Nonsense! It isn't that the sport is not popular in the United States but they keep getting beat in the ratings war by putting playoff games up against those darn ratings monsters like; Big Bang Theory reruns, Spongebob Squarepants, iCarly, Qvc...........................
