I was able to get a season pass to Disneyland
I was able to get a season pass to Disneyland
I've saved what I spent on the playoffs.
Bought a new to me but old motorcycle for me to mess with in the garage, kills 2 birds with one stone
Gives me something to do with no hockey and maybe be worth something in the future..........or at least that's how I sold it to the wife
Tickets: 2 seats @ 12.50 = $25
Parking at the Dennys Lot: $5 a night
Food: $8 average for pizza, or beer, or lawrys
Gas: 2.5 gallons @ $3.75 a gallon = 9.375
Total: $47.375
multiply that by 16 games and add in a hundred or so for shopping @ the team la store and 125 for the new jersey i wanted and you have 983.
Vegas would have been 45 for the ticket and probably about 75 for the room. add in food and gambling and you are probably at 270.
so maybe $1,250ish. Not counting what I would have spent at the bar watching road games.
For me the spending is relative because I only made 3 payments so far on my.season seats.I am only in a little over a $1050 I believe so I can't say I have saved it because I just will apply it to next season if its cancelled.Sure I saved here and there on food parking but I would much rather see hockey even if its a shortened season.I'm tired of this lockout bull****.
more $ for strippers and coke
i kid, kid...im a geek im gonna build a new pc
Well...let's see. I paid for my share of a season ticket group. We all agreed to let the team hold the money, so savings there = $0. Granted, I will only have to spend $x-y for 2013-14 tickets, but that's not a savings that I've realized at the present time, so I can't count that.
I got an $80 refund for my FF ticket, so that counts, but I still went to Vegas.
Gas to and from games and money not spent on overpriced Staples Center concessions totals to maybe $50. So maybe $130 total. Not much. I'd gladly pay it (even doubled) to get the lockout settled NOW.
Well if you cancel at this point do you get 100% of your money back? I'm REALLY considering it now... I don't even think I give a ***** about the banner raising at this point. I'm over it.
