Along with all of the things that PPharoah mentioned, A couple of coaches firing were also highlights for me.

The Superskills competition back in 93....(pretty sure it was that year). We had seats right at the glass.....Gretzky throws a puck to my husband....and he MISSED IT! I have the throw on video somewhere, though, along with whoever actually ended up catching the puck. Oh well.
My first game in 88....we didn't have cable, so I had only heard the games on radio and decided to see what this Luc Robitaille guy whose name they were always calling out looked like. Instant hockey fan! Thanks for being so good looking, Luc! Also was able to learn what all the lines meant and what cross checking was that night thanks to my husband's vast hockey knowledge.
And that Detroit game 4 was pretty awesome, too.
This one will always be special to me. It was my first NHL game I ever went to. Kings won 2-0. Hawks dominated a lot of the game. Quick was awesome. Doughty grabbed Stoll. Penalty shot. It had everything.
LA Kings Hockey - Disappointing Kings fans since 1967!
LA Kings Hockey - 2012 Stanley Cup Champions!
I've been a fan for a long time. My all time favorite memory was in 1976 when Butch Goring shot that wrist shot past Cheevers, beating the Bruins in overtime and seeing the rest of the team carry him around the ice on their shoulders. My next favorite was the game 6 comeback win against the Red Wings in 2001. I was with my kids and we were just going crazy like everybody else.
Not necessarily a specific moment, but the first game I ever went to is a highlight. I think I was 9 or 10 at the time (21 now) and we had seats ALLLLL the way at the top and in the back, but I remember walking through the hallway and you see the ice and I was just blown away how ****ing cool it was being at a game. Was even more surreal when I walked back into that building 11 or 12 years later and watched my Kings win it all at home. Great memories in that building!
I will throw in a random one that hit me the other night. For me personally was the Bruins and Kings in the first regular season game at Staples Center. If I recall the game ended in a tie, but I rememeber thinking it was the coolest thing ever that I was at the opening game in a new arena.
I will also add in my first game. It was a 6 to 5 Kings loss against the Red Wings. Despite losing I saw Wayne Gretzky score and met Robb Blake after the game. Pretty cool thing for a 11 year old hockey fan!
