The Kings players may of drank some liquor last night or whatever.
It is only one game in the books now.
The Kings may of lost this game.
But it was EXPECTED on MY behalf because; 1. The lockout affect and knowing so, some of these players weren't playing elsewhere during the meantime to keep themselves game ready. 2. The so-called training camp the teams had for barely a week isn't going to help everything. I think DS should of done more than just a bunch of high tempo practices. I know you want to get them going. But why does it seem other teams I've watched seem more game ready?
I don't think John Quick is playing hurt at all. But there was a thing or two I noticed differently about his play in today's game. But I think he be fine. Let him get all adjusted back to playing.
I wish there was a site that can give details about the players health and physical assessment test, so we fans know where them players stand at as far as being in shape.
Sure, Doughty, Penner, Carter, and Quick looked in shape. But for others though.

1. Kings suck in afternoon games.
2. Kings suck against Chicago (4-10 in last 14 games against the Hawks)
3. Emotional, flat due to banner raising.
4. Missing two of their most important players (Kopitar and Mitchell)
Really don't see why "what did you expect" is such a crazy thing to say. It isn't so much that it is "okay" with anyone as it is what it is. On to the next one, no biggy.

I kind of had a feeling this could happen ..I was dissapointed when Quick gave up that goal when we went down 5-2..in a short season every game is crucial.Hoping and praying the Kings win on Tuesday

talking with many of you at the game... none of us cared all that much at all, really.

I figured the Kings were going to have a hard time winning this one. They got their rings, skated the cup, and watched a banner go up. They looked emotionally flat and a step behind the Hawks. I expect a much better looking team on Tuesday.

Players boozing, bad record recently against Chicago, ring cermony, line shifting.... so be it.
What everybody needs to know, especially the East Coast Crosby/Ovechkin/Malkin/Nash jock sniffers should have learned today.
Anze Kopitar is one of the top 3, if not the best forward in the world.
