the player i honestly was most concerned with today was Doughty, and i thought he was just fine out there. this is his year to put a great regular season together with a great post-season.

personally, i thought he should have won the Conn Smythe.

And the fans didn't care either.

I learned that without Mitchell, the pairing of Martinez and Voynov looks a little suspect. Aside from that, not too concerned.

I kind of expected the Blackhawks to have the upper hand in terms of readiness and motivation.

The Kings are going to be playing almost every other night so it's just a matter of time before we see better hockey from the Team. I'm more concern with injuries as there will be lots of them this short season.

Dreweiske should never see another NHL shift IMHO, and Greene's not going to be able to cover his arse all season. I think its time to play Muzzin.

I'd actually rather see Martinez with Doughty, and Slava with Scuds.

well, i meant, primarily us... seriously, even Bruce McNall was aimlessly wandering around the PR/Suite A level walkways. well, he did have an aim... i watched him walk past me like 4 or 5 times seemingly trying to be noticed and 'rekkunized' by ANYONE.
