Ranford is the goaltending coach. I am not looking for him to play lol.

As for me questioning Quick's ability to play big... that wasn't my intent at all. He obviously has proven himself. Despite the good GAA numbers posted, he has been a slow starter out of the last 2 training camps. It usually does take him a few games to get adjusted to game speed. Now with only a one week camp, the lockout, plus surgery it will be interesting to see how quickly he gets back to his All-Star self.

I think it's funny how spoiled people get after the Kings win the cup... as if it's inconceivable that the other team is capable of playing smarter and harder than the Kings.

Sucks they lost. Hopefully they don't lose on Tuesday. Move along.

Yeah I meant for there to be some sarcasm there, but the internet stole it from me. I'm actually in the same boat as you concerning Quick. I have all the confidence in the world in the guy, but the lack of training camp and coming off back surgery is cause for a little concern. With the condensed schedule, I am worried about the risk of injury. I can't help but think that if Quick hurt himself it could make for a very long (yeah I know it's short) season.

Never underestimate the force of "a slow start". I actually think Kings might lose a few more before they get their **** together.

They are playing without Kopitar and Mitchell after all. Carter at center (and separated from Richards) especially stinks and might need a fix very soon.

I won't start panicking until the game 10 or so.

By game 10 they might be out of a playoff run.

They get a pass. They could not make the playoffs this year and I am good with it. Being at Game 6 like so many of you made up for a lot. In my opinion, with a short season, anything can really happen.

Other teams might be more ready to play, because when the kings were out celebrating a cup, others were working out and perfecting their game to win one.

I know as sport fans we have a quick memory, but lets try to remember this one for a little bit.
