He suffered from something a lot of young talented Kings draft picks suffered from... they were rushed to the Kings far too soon and it ruined their confidence. Had they been treated properly and spend a couple of years in the AHL to get their confidence and learn the system they would have been far better players

I always thought DL would find a way to bring Olli back, but he must've soured on him over the years - DL has had plenty of chances to sign him relatively cheaply, but has passed every time. On second thought, maybe he just hated Ziggy.
I seem to recall that in talking about that trade, Lombardi specifically had a "don't get me wrong, Palffy was a GREAT player" line. His problem, as others have said, was with the timing. The team was not in a position to make a trade like that.

I never thought that Jokinen looked in great shape as a King. In fact we used to joke and call him Baby Huey....I know, incredibly offensive and in poor taste.

Can we still get Lauri Tukonen and Konstantin Pushkarev back? The time to strike is now! I think we can be a contender!

Saying that the Kings weren't close to becoming contenders when they acquired Ziggy is silly. Their offense was already booming with the likes of Donald Audette!!

    Haha. :D

if you play with those teams where he end up (he could not choose his fate as he was traded most times...) no much post season action for you

you can think it in this way, at least he is playing in NHL, there is lot of guys that are not...he is not a bad player by any means.

The Kings tried like like hell to ruin Brown too. They almost succeeded if that damn lockout didn't happen.

Looking back at some Kings prospect, you really have to feel bad with how they were brought in. A few of those guys may have been terrific players if they were taken by the new Kings.
