    Confirmed that Kings will get their Cup rings as part of the season-opening/Cup banner-raising festivities. Game is at Staples on Jan. 19.

    Bob Miller was on the Mayor's Manor podcast yesterday, and he hinted that he'd heard it wasn't Vancouver, Anaheim, San Jose, or Phoenix. He said "I've kind of heard it might not be any one of those four" when asked to talk about who would be the best opponent for the opener.

    disappointing thought... maybe NHL wants high gate for first day... Kings fans will show up for banner, so stick them against a ****ty team in the west?

    My guess is the game will be on NBC and therefore they will want either the Blackhawks or the RedWings to get ratings.

    I could really care less who they play. Could care less if there is some secret agenda. Raise the flag, and for the last time, show our boys our appreciation for giving us the greatest high.
    I know for a fact, i was not the only grown ass man in tears as we counted down in unison for them.
