After all their soiled diaper crybaby antics last year, I'd love to see them have to watch our banner go up. They couldn't take their drubbing like everyone else.

Confirmed that Kings will get their Cup rings as part of the season-opening/Cup banner-raising festivities. Game is at Staples on Jan. 19.

I have a feeling it will be Chicago. Detroit is not the same old team that is a lock for the post season any longer. Their defense is a mess now that Lidstrom is retired. Goaltending is average at best, and they are losing Holmstrom up front to further weaken their average offense (yeah Zetterberg and Datsyuk are studs but it stops there).
Chicago just makes sense. The last 2 western conference cup champs facing off.
