Don't want Subban here but the Habs insisting he takes $2.5 per for 2 years is BS. He doesn't have much leverage but it's still BS.

I really like PK Subban and while he does have growing up to do on defense still, he is fantastic in the offensive zone.

I thought he was the best player on the ice during his World Juniors time and has a very high ceiling. This kid has tons more potential still.

Unfortunately, I am sure that Montreal would need a defense going back the other way and some forward help. It would either cost Carter and like Muzzin, or a package of maybe Scuderi and either Clifford or Stoll.

Not interested. While he's a legitimate player with big potential, he's already got the "I'm so valuable" problem a lot of young 'stars' have lately. I'd prefer to sign/trade for vets or up-and-comers that have reasonable salary demands and realize the importance of building a cap-friendly roster.
