Gescom is on a roll!
All good points but what I do worry about this team is the back end. The loss of Greene and Mitchell change the complection of the team. If the team is in contention and they are back by seasons end then the post season will be interesting.
Not trying to rain on the parade, just my 2 cents.
As for the Ducks, Ges is spot on. The D is still very sloppy and Fasth will come back down to earth. Where Bruce has an upper hand is he has a more talented top 9 then Washington, but it is the same idea. I don't see them passing a second round. There is no way I can see them getting past a Vancouver, Hawks, Kings, among others in a 7 game series.
See what happens when the dolphin gets sober? **** gets real

Perspective? I thought I was on the internet. Am I on the internet?
Look at the Ducks success this way. Better chance we'll face them in the playoffs.
UPDATE from Chicago.
Crawford didnt practice yesterday or today. Some kid called up from Rockford. Hello Ray Emery!
Great post! The only concern I have with the Kings is winning streaks. I don't recall this team having many 7 or 8 game winning streaks (other than the playoffs last year) in the last 4 or 5 seasons. Maybe my memory is bad.
What I mean is when I look at the standings I see teams with 14 games played to LA's 11. Then I think if Detroit and St. Louis lost their next game (which would be their 14) and obviously everyone else didn't play (which they will) and LA won their next 3 (which gives us 14 games) we'd have 16 pts and be in 6th place in the standings, suddenly right in the playoff picture.
We have (to me anyway) 4 very winnable games in the next 7 (Calgary, Edmonton, Colorado and Columbus)...and three iffy, but if we can't beat Anaheim, Detroit and Chicago then we ain't got a chance...so we should be able to 8-10 points but I just don't recall LA going on extended winning streaks other than the playoffs last year.
Wow! I reread this and it made sense in my head, but not sure now!...oh well
