The Pipeline - Who Gets a Shot and When
With the core of this team being fairly young and some decent prospects in the system, I was wondering what folks thought about when we will begin to see some of the kids with the big club.
I'm no expert when it comes to the prospects and the new waiver rules make it even more complicated to know when they have to get their shot or be exposed to waivers.
But I thought I'd list out the prospects that are likely to see the NHL at some point and we can guess as to what's going to happen with them. Traded? Crack the lineup? Never see the NHL?
Am I missing any other prospects that have a real chance?

I think the ones we see earliest are Bodnarchuk and Forbort. They have seniority at a position where the current players are the oldest/frailest.
Up front, given the waiver situation, I'd say we don't see Andreoff or Weal until next season unless they do something very special or the Kings have some serious issues.

i would argue skill>seniority in most cases i.e. Pearson.

Andy Andreoff- A year or two
Adrian Kempe- 2 years at least
Maxim Kitsyn- May have a shot in 15/16. Maybe a few games this season?
Michael Mersch- No clue
Nickolay Prokhorkin- Same as Kitsyn
Nick Shore- Same as Kitsyn
Jordan Weal- Same as Kitsyn
Valentin Zykov- This is an interesting one. A couple years off. BUT he truly believes he can make it this season. He believed he could have made it last season. Not in a bad "I should have made it, this sucks" way. In a confident, good, typical DL character way.
Andrew Bodnarchuk. No clue
Nick Ebert- No clue
Derek Forbort- A few games this season?
Kevin Gravel- Same
Roland McKeown- Makes it or is gone. (Edit<---- I read it wrong...meant McNabb makes it or is gone via waivers. McKeown in a couple years away in my opinion)
Patrick Bartosak-. long way off
JF Berub- long way off

Is the Prohorkin situation clarified? Will the KHL let him sign DL's contract? Last I heard it was back to muddy waters.
Edit* This is the last news I saw
