i do that sometimes, out of frustration at the lack of shots. i'll just say shoot, though, i won't scream it. only a radius of two people in all directions can hear me. but they all think i'm dumb

dude, 1993 is quite possibly the greatest year in kings history. think about it. for the last 19 years that's the greatest thing we had to point to. and we've all seen the replays dozens of times. don't rain on my nearly two decades old parade that we never had

That drives me nuts! Sure, sometimes they are over passing, but again... if you are so good at hockey, then why arent you playing?
Especially when the puck is at the point, with no traffic, and the goaltender is already squared, and they are 5 seconds in. SHUT UP PEOPLE!

I discussed with a few other "regulars"...and in years past..it was "Time for a Kings Disc Power Play!"...never (until this season) was it "Time for a Kings Disc Sports and Spine Power Play!". Yes...Disc has been "sponsoring" the Kings PP for a few years...but never was it the 'S and S PP'.

No, seriously, it's been Sport and Spine for at least a couple of years now. Seriously.

2012 is the greatest year in Kings history, hands down, end of discussion. However, 1993 is definitely second. That was quite a playoff run, and the playoff series win over Toronto was epic, if not legendary. Reaching the SCF for the first time (i.e. winning the conference championship) was and still is worth remembering with a banner.

Slightly off topic (because it happened at Citizens Bank Arena), we had some nozzle 5 seats down from us (2 seat buffer between us and his wife, and then him), who was on the aisle seat. Instead of just cheering or clapping to show approval, he felt the need to bang the pivoting arm rest up and down hard enough to shake the entire row of seats (lower bowl, 5 rows from the glass behind the goal). After the first period, my wife who has no problem speaking her mind, kindly asked him to quit doing that, to which he responded, "I'll think about it". Stay classy Ontario.
