Default Possibility of Lockout Apology Freebies?

    The Penguins are doing it:

The Pittsburgh Penguins will offer FREE selected concession items and “half off” all merchandise at the team’s first four games at CONSOL Energy Center.

Every fan attending each of those games will receive a voucher for three free concession items. Fans may choose from among hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, nachos, popcorn, pretzels, salads and fountain drinks.

All merchandise at “PensGear” stores will be half off for the first four games. The PensGear store in the main lobby of CONSOL Energy Center and PensGear at SouthSide Works will offer the half-off discount throughout the day on the first four home dates.
I think we might have something like this in store to be announced today at the presser. I sure hope they don't say XX% off everything except Stanley Cup merchandise.

Can you imagine how much slower Staples concession workers will be if they have to process vouchers or certificates? HA

They frequently do them on the four tickets, four hotdogs, four Pepsi and the two tickets-two beers promotions, though. Speed is about the same.

They are going to line up all the season ticket owners and give them a big wet kiss. Since they already F'd us, they might as well kiss us.
But, I'm living with a white girl

It's a good idea. They need to win back the fans. The Kings should give the ST holders free parking for say 5 games.

Wow...my recent experiences have been exactly the opposite. I guess it depends on which concession stand you go to. And do you really tip the concession workers?!

Eh, they are both slow as hell.

You should see Home Depot Center. We went to a Galaxy game there once, and it took them about 15 minutes to get through 3 people in front of me.... THREE... the woman was slow as ****...

When I went to a game in Pittsburgh, everything is served cafeteria style. They just put things up and people take them and pay at the end. Bought 2 hot dogs and a peanuts in 1 minute during the intermission.
