Foxy tweeted out the line combos from practice today. Looks like Clifford is being rewarded with a promotion.

Good. He deserves it.

I don't like Clifford moving up to the 2nd line, he is an integral piece to that 4th Line grit. Why not just bench Penner and bring in Gagne? But what do I know? For the record, Cliffie is one of my top 3 favorites.

I love this.

As much as I was/am in love with the notion of "the whole Cup winning team" being together... the cold hard reality is at the end of this season Gagne, Penner and possibly Scuderi, Drewisky and Richardson are all going bye bye.

The only thing holding this Kings team back at the moment is mental sharpness and willingness to pay the price they paid in the playoffs. Obviously the regular season ISN'T the playoffs and I don't expect them to win 16 out of every 20 games BUT.....

if Penner is feeling like having another regular season like the one he had last season.....................

I would much rather have Jack Johnson than the lifeless Carter we have had so far.

Cup or not, I still hate that trade.
