    Nope
This game has to be early for a bunch of reasons.
    Biggest two:
This is a two times nationally broadcast game. NBC wants as many people watching as possible. So does TSN
Second this is to get new fans. It has to be before the major bowl games that day. They want people that are waiting for USC Notre Dame and the SEC team of the year to turn away from Army Navy Gramling and watch this while they get their pre game drunk on.
If the hockey game is on against the big college games they might as well not play it.

Is that why they had their highest ratings when they played the game at 8pm EST in 2011?

When did that story break? Or are you just saying that because you don't think a NFL franchise will move to LA?

Last I've heard, all of the red tape is cleared and construction is ready to break ground. It all depends on an NFL team moving to LA (already past 2013 deadline).

Tim Liweke has been quoted in early 2013 as saying they fully expect the new owners of AEG (when a sale is complete) to pursue the matter to it's conclusion. I think there are too many powerful corporations and interests all on the same page for this not to happen. Pure speculation, but if you've read to the contrary, I'd like to know?

It's part speculation, part what I've read.

AEG wants to build the stadium and then lease it to a nfl team. No nfl team will go for that when they can get a city to build them a stadium for free. In the same vein I don't see AEG razing the convention center, building a new wing, and then building a stadium in the hopes that a team will move here.

Also, this assumes that the field gets built. I wouldn't take it as a given that the new owners will want to. If there was an expansion and two teams moved in then I could see it being a possibility.

The NFL had a long history of playing with the city of los Angeles, and L.A. has a long history of shooting themselves in the foot going back to when the O'malleys wanted to build a stadium in the parking lot of dodger stadium and the coliseum commission ****ed everything up

My question, that I probably already know the answer to, is do season ticket holders get a ticket?

I'm pretty sure it is. Any link saying it's not going to be built?

Only if it's against the Ducks. If there are concerns about attendance I'm sure they'd schedule the game vs. the Canucks.
