The only reason that the Kings are selling this ticket for so much is because they know a lot of folks want to go and that they can charge what they want because people will pay it.

On the plus side, I just checked my season ticket password thingy and there was one seat available in the 300's and the rest were in the PR and 100's for a price of $300 each. Singles only. So, I guess you'll get a really good deal on the aftermarket since they priced them so high that they won't be too expensive. Better hurry though, on Stubhub they're only at $180 each for that $155 ticket right now. Well, the ones that aren't already being priced at $220 that is.
See what Quantitative Easing gets you. Just wait, hyper-inflation is just around the corner. It is the only way out of our massive debt other than default.

We are in an environment where teams price at a level of what the market will bear. All professional sports follow a similar pricing model. I think their motto is Leave no $$ left behind!!

More so, the kings aren't using dynamic pricing.

The Kings are charging more depending on the game you want, I pulled up 4 different games with my STH presale and they ranged for $59 for the Canucks to $46 for the Preds on March 4th but Preds on Jan 31st are $51.50.

You're discrediting it because the article was written 2 years ago? And if it's not dynamic pricing, then what is it?

Is it really better for the team? I for one am pissed off about this, I wont pay for any games this year! I hope Im not the only one who feels this way. After being a season ticket holder for years, I dont think they need more money from the fans, they should be making it up to us fans, not gouging us.
