IMO shootouts are a coin toss for the extra point. i actually blame whoever was in control of the scoreboard for putting "KINGS WIN" after kopi kept the kings in it for the next round. effing jynxed it!

I actually like picking the hard working, low percentage guys first. To put it concisely, "You're a top line player, ****ing play like it". If the top line guys aren't showing the effort or making a positive difference in the game, let them know. Put the low percentage guys out there in the shootout to show who is making a difference. If you want to call it giving away points, cool; Because that's exactly what top line players are doing by playing poorly or lackadaisically.

On the other hand, how did Trotz wait until #8 to send out Kostitsyn? Or am I giving Kos way too much credit as an offensive player?
