Quick/Bernier vs. Scrivens/Jones
Interesting dichotomy between our 2 goalies at the moment
The past few years we had the uber-athletic and aggressive (sometimes overly aggressive out of the crease) Quick... and the laid-back, not as athletic, stay in the crease, let the shooter come to you Jonathan Bernier
Now it's Scrivens in the same mold as Quick (athletic, sometimes too aggressive and makes stick-handling mistakes outside the crease)... and Jones in the same mold as Bernier.
Sorry, just thought it was interesting.

And maybe we could switch them out depending on our opposing team... much like Bernier was strong against certain teams because of his style, maybe we should start Jones against those similar style of teams.
When Quick comes back, I guess Jones goes back down.

I'm more interested to see what happens if JQ comes back by the end of the month, but Scrivens is still at ~1.50 GAA and .944 SV% and the Kings are rolling. Is Sutter going to ease Quick back in, or dare I say, is he the new backup to Scrivens until proven otherwise?

With the Kings defense, any pair looks good in my book.

Who is this Bernier you speak of?

Bill Ranford, I love you.

It was one game. One game. No way I'm comparing Jones to Bernier this early.

Jones is a full-sized Bernier.

Should be interesting. Hard to say though, is Scrivens a guy that will get "cold" by not playing a few times a week? We don't know yet. If Scrivens is playing at those stats you posted, he's definitely the starter though.
