    Default Quick in Manchester?

So saw this on Puck Daddy and am now fairly confused. Seems the Kings tried to assign Quick to Manchester on a conditioning assignment but the AHL is saying no? It's times like these where Rich was pretty helpful.

    How Kings

    From the Times

    From her twitter:

Clarification on Quick rehab assignment to AHL Manchester: to rehab and work out only, not to play
Would be nice for Quick to be able to play here and not on a contract elsewhere. If I'm not mistaken injured players are still being paid even though locked out.

They could send him to Ontario. He can workout and help Berube at the same time

Maybe Manchester is easier for him, he is a New England guy so he may be hanging out over there

Quick has been working out with the Reign at Ontario Ice the last couple days. A buddy of mine posts a couple of pics on his facebook. Quick does look good in Reign gear

I hear Allison is listed day to day. That's a good sign.

Jon Quick of Los AngelEs Kings and Reading Royals will be continuing rehab starting this week with AHL Manchester Monarchs. He had back surgery after they won Stanley Cup last year. Welcome back Jon.
