It must have been prior to NBC joining the game because I did not see it at home. I'm glad they did that and sorry that NBC didn't show it.

I still think the Kings need to use his Ladies and Gentlemen, Your Los Angeles Kings into when the team skates out onto the ice. And I know I'm not the only one.
You're not the only one...

Firstly, it sucked that NBC didn't show it and yes it was strange when I heard his voice announcing the cup, it took a second for me to realize that that wasn't right, spooky.
I get what you are saying, I really do, but Dave is no longer with us and it is time to move on. This place is going to go nuts when Bob retires.
I wanted to see a hologram of Jack Kent Cooke lifting the Cup.
I was there & thought, WOW!!! I couldnt believe it was soooooo quiet!!! Very powerful moment/minute of silence....until, the whistles & I love you's started... Nice tribute and Boo to NBC for not airing it!!! I do agree, that using David's voice announcing the Kings onto the ice, would be nice to continue. Derek Jeter has the audio of the Yankees announcer (name escapes me) announce him , everytime he comes to bat at home- kinda nice tribute. Just my 2 cents.
It was so freaking quiet in there I actually heard the air conditioning units humming. I couldn't believe it.
The one thing I didn't notice was if the players were wearing a DC decal on their helmets.
