Is that BE one chromed cast metal or is it a chromed resin with a metal base?
Im seriously thinking about buying it for the office. I have their 6" Christmas ornament that I converted into a dashboard ornament for my truck. Im really happy with the build quality on it. The price was pretty good @ $36 also. I'll try to get a pic of it tomorrow. Thanks.
Here is the BE Christmas Ornament in its new job of being a Dash Ornament for the FX4. I cut the little puck off the tree hanging string and hot glued it to the cup. I also added some Dry Ease board tape to the stick butts and blades which covered up the double "2012". I double sticky taped it to the dash. Well worth the $36:
Here it is next to old LeBatts promo cup from somewhere around 99' and the little SCC Christmas ornament made by the "Forever" company. That Christmas ornament was $18 and will stay as a Christmas Ornament:
Anyway, that BE Cup makes a fantastic Dash tchotchke. Between the ginormous sticker on the back window, the license plate and that ornament...I get my fare share of prop-age (and birdies) on the road.
Can you shoot me a quick pic and post it when you get a chance?
Is it that same style mini cup everyone was passing around during the parade at Nokia?
Im just curious to see what material its made out of. I'll be able to tell from the different types of manufacturing seams in a pic. Im either going to buy it or that Waterford Crystal Puck Ive been posting in other threads.
Thanks.
Still take a pic if you can but I've figured out what its constructed of...Resin, same as my mini-mini cup. From the BE site:
2012 Stanley Cup® commemorative figurine is handcrafted in artist's resin with a chrome-plated finish and stands on a hand-painted base
