He played the best two months of his life last spring. But this season is back to his previous status quo - poor production for a first line player on a team starved for offense. Nobody has forgotten what he did for us just a few short months ago.
Long term plan for Brown is still an issue, who's available for a good hockey deal?

Likely candidates in terms of expiring contracts (UFA at the same time anyway)?
Bergeron
Vanek
Cammeleri
Stempniak
Frolik
Datsyuk
Hemsky
Nugent Hopkins
Heatley
Setoguchi
Gionta
Legwand
Kostitsyn
Moulson (wouldn't that set this place afire)
Gaborik
Boyle
Kreider
Michalek
C. Giroux
B. Schenn
Coutrier
Malkin
Kessel
Sedins
Jokinen

Obviously most of that list is a dead no both ways but there might be something to a few...
