i got 4 rings 2 me 2 my sis. On figueroa entrance for a moment they got flustered with the game about to start and started handing out the rings on 2 tables. I just walked to one side stuck hand out got a ring then walked to other side and got another. Sis did the same and no one gave a crap or they didnt see me. Meh.
Considering they had an abundance of thousands for sale at Team LA, I honestly don't think too many little kids walked away empty handed over this sort of thing. As for the "quality of posters from 10 years ago", in the history of free giveaways, people have been scamming ways to get more than just the one they are entitled. well actually, my 3 yr old didn't get one. i didn't really feel the urge to try and beat the system though. it doesn't piss me off that other people did, but it's lame that they didn't really have a consistent system in place for handing these out.
no and that's why i didn't push it with them, but the whole discussion has been about how some people who DID have extra tickets didn't get a ring either. then even people without an extra ticket or extra person(s) got extra rings. i'm just saying their system for handing out rings was inconsistent. i'd say it'd be more fair to say no to a 3 yr old asking for a ring if other people weren't allowed to get extras, but whatever. i was just addressing what usckingsfan said.
First of all, I'm sorry your three year old didn't get one. I hope that you are able to find an extra on here or in the Team LA Store!
Having said that, that's apples and oranges. I wasn't saying that gaming the system was "cool" or "fair", I was saying that it didn't cost kids a ring. And in your case, it was Kings/Staples Center policy that cost your kid a ring, not a shortage due to people swiping an extra.
I'm 1 million% in agreement that I'd rather your kid get one than others get multiples. That's just a completely separate point from the one I was making.
