Any chance the giveaways are made of not-so-sterling silver?
i'm kind of glad that the rings look different. if there were too many out there that looked just like the players' rings, it'd kind of cheapen the uniqueness and specialness (yes, i just made that up) of the players' prize. the white gold, diamonds and design are their reward exclusive to them and depending on one's involvement in the process, it diverges from there. i think it's fair enough. thank you rinkrat for putting together one cohesive post to show all the different rings that were made.![]()

Any idea if the Team LA store is going to have them again - ? I need, would love to get one for my daughter who is now on the band's wagon.
Thanks in advance all. I have checked with no luck finding it there. I like the foundation they help out - King's Care rocks - !!

I bought one of the fan rings for $25 at Team LA the other night. Very nice, and I'm always glad to support the Foundation. The ring itself is too tight for me to wear. Anyone know if it can be resized? Otherwise its just a conversation piece.
Thanks. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place - ? Does this place sound familiar if you'd take a look - Team LA - the Official Team Shop of LA - ? Thanks. I have been looking since they sent out a message that they would be back in stock before a game last week.
I believe a jeweler can re-size it. Not sure if it would be worth it though. I heard they are not a high quality metal ... some kind of nickle alloy and probably on the inexpensive end ? It might not take well IMHO.
Anyway thanks again.
Also it seems like I just jumoed on the band wagon like my daughter. I have only really liked three tems since my days of playing JV hockey in New England. The Rangers as a kid, then the Bruins and the Kings shortly after moving to LA in 1988. I do respect all players (even if they play for VanPhoenix (sic) or who ever)

I used to work at a machine shop, and I don't think it can be resized. Here's why...
From what I can tell the ring is cast from brass or bronze without a finger hole, and the hole was milled out after it cooled. You can tell from the circular lines inside the finger hole that run perpendicular to the direction your finger goes in. A high-end ring would have been cast with this hole alread in place. Also, it looks like it's nickle & chrome plated, then polished and painted with the black paint. After painting, it's baked to make the paint adhere to the chrome.
The only way to resize the ring would be to have it milled out to your finger size, but that would ruin the plating of the ring. At that point, it would be better to just buy an expensive Tiffany ring in your size, or wait until someone on ebay makes a replica of a player's ring and buy it in your size.
I might be a little off on some of this stuff, but it think it's about right.

Just got my replica ring from my Nephew that goes to USC... I'm very impressed with its quality! This was a SGA? Nice!!!
