I stayed in the west wing last FF. Very long walk from the front desk to the room. Recommend getting a bellhop during check-in and check-out.

Usually I'm a downtowner. Gonna try for the Golden Nugget or Main Street Station this year. As a minimalist I really don't need more than a clean, quiet place to sleep, get a shower and change clothes, plus a working TV. Everything downtown is an easy walk to everything else. If I find any decent deals I'll post them.

Do we have a date yet on FF, or is that still up in the air due to the CBA talks?

It's still on Sept.29th and staying in the West Wing at the MGM puts you right by the City Walk and food Court.

can someone give me some info about frozen fury? i've never gone but wanna go with my wife. is it just the 1 day and when do tickets go on sale? when do hotel tickets usually need to be booked by? really hope I can go, vegas is only $30 airplane ticket away

No date yet for ticket sales. RR will usually put them up for sale here before they go to the public. The game is on Saturday, September 29th. A lot of us will go for more than one day to party for the weekend. If you plan on going, keep eyes posted here for good hotel deals. Rarely do the deals get better as you approach the game. Also, you can always cancel a reservation if you book a better deal later on.

Where are you finding a $30 flight?

Looking more and more like this CBA is a pretty big concern. This event is usually official by late February or March. We're 1 round into the playoffs and not a word from the Kings. I did hit up the ticket reps and they say that those dates ARE the dates they're working on and that there should be word soon, but still nothing. We need a backup plan just in case cuz I refuse to cancel this trip. Still go to Vegas and blow it up LA Kings style. The Hof on Friday is a given. But who shall we grace with our presence on Saturday if the worst is realized and there is no FF game???
