Carter will move back to center until the return of Kopi

Doubt it. Penner can play RW.

Until Kopitar, Mitchell (Out with a bum knee for a couple of weeks) and Quick return:

    Penner-Carter-Brown
    Gagne-Richards-Williams
    King-Stoll-Lewis
    Richardson-Fraser-Nolan
    Scuderi-Doughty
    Greene-Voynov
    Muzzin-Martinez

    Bernier
    Jones
at the draft party a couple of years ago, and under a considerable haze, i heard Birdman yell out the following (about 4 or 5 times, i think) - "don't marry yourselves to players!" he went on to reiterate that idea more than once on the boards, and i believe it to be absolutely sage.

Im going to throw this in here too, I posted it in the Monarchs forum but it doesnt seem like many people venture into there. Will anyone be invited to camp? I know the roster is pretty much set but do they invite any of the prospects to the shortened camp?

Toffoli? he has the most goals on the team (16) and is second in points (26) for the team. The only player with more SOG is Voynov by 2 shots 106-104.

Hickey? By all accounts he is playing much better hockey and is tied in points with Muzzin at 11

Muzzin? He has played in the NHL before and is close to being able to make the step up.

    Anyone else?

The Monarchs called up Berube from Ontario. They going to bring Jones over for camp to see how long til he is ready to be an NHL backup?

He just played the best hockey of his career on Kopitar's left wing down the stretch and through the playoffs.
