Thread: Roster and lines

It's damn good to actually be discussing hockey again. Presumably, the lines will be kept the same as the playoffs last year, ya know, when the team was steamrolling their way to the cup. Minor tweaks might occur with the 4th line (no Nolan?) and Kopitar's injury might cause a brief shuffle. Thoughts and predictions?

I just can't wait to see Carter and Richards play during the regular season. It's about freakin time.

There's going to be some competition between Nolan and Clifford. Is Bernier going to be traded soon? How many games are going to be on the road in the beginning of the season and will that help/hurt the team?

although it seems like he'll be cleared, I'm sure they'll wait and see how Quick performs after the surgery before trading Bernier. I still don't think there's a rush to trade him. I mean, I think he'll likely be traded sometime this year, but it really could be a deadline deal or even an off-season deal.

Especially with the huge crunch of games that the team will face, a solid backup is an absolute must....no way in hell is DL gonna hand over 10ish games to Martin freakin Jones or whatever lame FA that is still available. Bernier will get a decent amount of PT and then get traded this offseason, me thinks

Then Kopi returns....

Agree except for Penner and Gange. Switch the two when Kopitar returns.

Wouldn't talk about trading Bernier until we see Quick at 100%.
