Default Round 2: Pick #60 - Alex Lintuniemi

    Eliteprospects.com - Alex Lintuniemi

    http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p...php?pid=170144

No good video of him found at the moment.

*** Also, if a mod can correct the spelling of Lintuniemi in the thread title, it would be appreciated.

I approve of this pick as well.

As I predicted, DL is restocking the D ranks

He played for Chris Byrne, the recently new hired scout for the Kings; he was the GM/Coach of the Ottawa 67's. They know this kid VERY well.

According to elite prospects....hes 6'3" and 227 lbs at 18. If thats true....kid is a monster. I think the 6'2" 190lbs is probably more accurate.

Also noticed in Jokerit Jr A....76 pims in 37 games. By Euro standards that a lot of PIMs. Heres another good link with more info....models his game after Nik Kronwall.

    67's player profile: Alex Lintuniemi
What sets him apart is that he’s big, and he can skate, and he can protect the puck from anyone. If you’re trying to get it and he doesn’t want you to get, you’re not going to. -Justin Williams on Kopitar

I had tendonitis real bad in my left elbow about 6 months ago, so I borrowed a left shot stick at a stick and shoot. OMG it was like I had never played before.
