If I said the same things, would you send me to Ireland?
Wow, sensitive much there super patriot? First of all... I didn't see any 'ripping' of America/North America. Secondly as an American I'm self confident enough in myself and my country to not think too much if someone doesn't like it(Which the guy never said). After all it is a free country, do what you like, think what you like, look how you like. Doesn't affect me in the slightest.
Which statements are you referring to? He is quoted as saying, "I couldn’t get used to (American) mentality. They are totally different people from us." I don't think that constitutes "bagging on North America." He also is quoted as saying that Columbis is "the gloomiest" city in the United States. I suppose folks living in or connected with that city might be righteously indignant over that (or they might completely agree), but it's hardly an attack on North America as a whole. The only other quotes in the article have nothing to do with North America versus anywhere else. Even the non-quoted statement by the author that he "he hated life in North America" is pretty tepid. Not everyone who was born and raised in another county and who doesn't fall in love with the U.S., Canada, or North America as a whole is a bad guy.
M'erica **** yeah!!! seriously I don't find what he said to be ripping America in the slightest.
Hay! If y'all don't like 'Merika, you can git out! That guy is takin' a job that a nice 'Merikan boy could have!
DEY TOOK ARE JAUBS!!!!
Well, he did say when asked about Bryz's supposed statement that "America is a country of lies" - "there is a lot which is false behind the smiles, Bryzgalov is right." So he wasn't terribly complimentary.
