Sorry you had a crappy time beedee. That's one reason why I didn't bother with the Wells Fargo signing on Friday in Alhambra. People I knew who weren't Kings fans even heard about this and told me to go. And they usually never come out in this direction (I'm in Monrovia).

With the bandwagoners, it has definitely gotten a lot worse.

Ugh, don't remind me. Even the season ticket holder perk (Meet the Players) was one of the absolute worst this year. Normally you would be lucky to hit up 3-4 lines and end up with a good 9-12 autographs and photos. This year, most people got stuck in one line for 3 hours. I only got Brown, Fraser, and Scuderi and there were some people who got zero autographs. Until they change it so you can't give away these tickets to non STH, the lines will continue to be terrible.. =\

There was one positive public player signing I would like to share. This was about 3-4 seasons ago when Jack Johnson was at the Sports Chalet in the Santa Anita Mall (Arcadia). The Kings, of course were terrible and so we didn't have to worry about bandwagon fans. The line was average but moved pretty fast. Even though I already had his signature on multiple stuff from meet the players, I went to this event anyway just because it was 5 minutes away from me.

Had a chance to talk to Jack and took a few pictures with him and the Ice Crew. They had an employee outside the store, at the mall asking people if they wanted JMFJ to sign stuff. People of course, didn't care about the Kings or knew who he was, so they declined. I think Jack got to leave like 10 minutes early because the line was done.

This is for anyone who knows the answer, there is supposed to be a player appearance at the Long Beaach Staples on 2/26 and I have conflicting reports on who is supposed to be there. On the Kings website it says that three players are scheduled are Fraser, Quick, and Muzzin. Yesterday they were handing out flyers for that event at the Seal Beach Staples players appearance and the players listed were Greene, Fraser, and Muzzin. Anybody have clarification? Any help as always is appreciated.

On the Kings Ice Crew Facebook page, it says Quick as well (just like the website). If I had to guess, I would say it's Quick because Greene is injured and the flyer could be an old flyer that was printed before he had back surgery. But who knows?

I had overheard someone in line behind us saying the one in Alhambra was a huge nightmare. He said maybe 50-60 people got things signed. He also mentioned they were allowing pictures with the players behind the tables. That must have really slowed things down a lot.

One of the things I had looked foward to in the past about Kings players signings was that they were always a pleasant and stress free experience. Even at a recent Quick signing at Living Spaces in the O.C. there was a good size turn out, but everyone got a autograph and a few of us were able to go around again to get a few more things signed. I had not been to a Kings player signing since then, and to my surprise the recent Alhambra players apperance was the complete opposite experience. Part of the problem was people were able to take as many pictures and autographs as they wanted, and the other part of the problem was there were a lot of bandwagoners there who thought they were meeting Quick and Kopi. Case and point the family in front of me seriously brought six of their kids, and had each of them take picture with the players. After that then they had each adult in the group take a picture with Bernier and Nolan. That group alone took at least 5+ minutes, and once they were done having 5 generations take photos the group was dumb enough to have Jonathan and Jordan sign a new Ryan Smyth jersey they probably just bought at TJ Maxx that morning. Once I was done getting my two items signed, I quickly moved to the side so I could enjoy some free sodas. I went through one Sprite and had started on my second soda, when I noticed the group behind me was doing the exact same thing the group infront of me was doing earlier.

Sorry if I'm throwing someone here under the bus, but when there are literally hundreds of people behind you and the players only have a hour to sign, I feel it's expected people should understand this isn't the time for a Sears family portrait photoshoot.

I was in Seal Beach and another who got skunked...it sucked and was my fault because I made a wrong turn and went towards the beach as opposed to Los Al. felt bad for the family I dragged with me but took it in stride as much as possible. Cant blame the people at Staples...they tried their best and to blame would be silly. They did mention the tuesday signing and mentioned Greene specifically for what its worth. Ill have to get Carter and Voynov's autographs next time they come to one of my bbqs.

anyone go to the long beach appearance today? my husband got there an hour 10 min early this time and he was still about 200 back but this time, he got through. he said they seemed a lot more efficient this time, allowing no pics and only one sig per person. i had the little one to myself today and didn't think she could wait in a long ass line again only to maybe get nothing on top of it so i decided not to go and didn't think he would either. it turns out he went and surpised me when he got home with my game 6 ticket signed by drewiske and fraser. i only have about ~16 more signatures to go before i have everyone who played...................... :-/

I was there in Long Beach today. I was pretty disappointed that after spending three hours in line, and with about 45 minutes before the signing was to take place, they announce that Quick wasn't showing. Drewiske was a cool guy, but I really felt that they should have substituted a bigger name considering Quick was supposed to be there. Oh well. Other than that the signing went pretty smoothly.

I was at the Seal Beach signing with the wife and kids. Got there about 11:30 and was able to get autographs from the players. They had originally told us we would get two autographs per person from each player. By the time we got into the store they said it would only be one per player. Sorry to hear so many did not get any autographs. Carter is my wife's current favorite player and she got her jersey signed, so she was super happy.

So now, my wife goes to the Long Beach signing along with my mom, mainly to get my Quick jersey signed. We also have the Championship Commemorative Book that we will hopefully get signed by all the players from last years team (Got Gagne's just in time on Sunday). Well, of course, as was already mentioned, Quick was a no show. (Bummer!!!) The wife said there were a lot of unhappy Kings fans when that was announced, but to everyone's credit, most everyone stayed to get autographs from Fraser, Muzzin, Drewiske, and Bailey.
