Just wanted to post some photos and a little update on today's Matt Greene and Dwight King signing in Hollywood. I was thinking this event wouldn't be as crowded as other recent players signings because the marathon was blocking traffic just a few blocks away, and I was correct. When I showed up around 12 there was a little less than a 100 people in line, and no more than a 100 people showed up after me. The Wells Fargo people ran a well organized event, gave us all tickets so we could hold our places in line while we enjoy free Albertson's chicken, sodas, and cake. It looks like the Kings now restricted these signings to one item per player, and no personal photos with the players. Because of that the line moved very quickly and I was able to get multiple things signed, including a cool new 8x10 team photo card. Overall it was great event. P.S., Matt Greene said he will be back for the playoffs.

Folks, unless you have kids that you want to meet one of their heroes, never stand in line to get a player's autograph.

90% of the people who take their kids to free signings are usually not there because their children wanted to be there. It actually wasn't that bad today with the kids compared to other recent signings. In general Kings fans usually don't abuse their kids in that manner. You want to see child slavery? Go to a Dodgers/Angels free signing, or giveaway night.
