With 2 Stanley Cups now in tow, and a great bunch of fans (even if I do say so myself),
I think The Kings, if feasable, should have a summer Kings-Talk event on their new station, 790AM.
This August would be a nice time to start (and maybe do at least 1 every summer).
There's lots of benefits:
1. Kings fans could share their special offseason joys and concerns, which are always vital and beyond price.
2. The event would get fans tuned into 790AM early on.
3. The team could market team-logo item$ and do promotions during the show--You know, sell stuff.
4. There would be lots to talk about: The Cup itinerary and various celebrations, the Willie Mitchell departure and Greene resigning,
Brayden McNabb's outlook, info on The Draft and other prospects, reactions to moves by competing teams, etc
Any chance to fan the flames of the fanbase seems to me to be a good idea.
