I'm sure there's a TON of things about the travel regimen of an NHL team that's nothing like how you travel for work.

just think fishie, now the players (and beneficially for us, the kings) will be more well rested because they won't have the buzz saw snoring of some of their roommates to keep them up during nap and night time sleep! i have totally heard players joke about this and it can seriously be awful. before i had the kid, i could sleep through anything... that is except for my mom's snoring. i refuse to share a room with her while vacationing now because i can't sleep. that's while on vacation. i can't even imagine what it would be like for people who travel for months together for work.

that aside, i'm not down with sharing rooms either. that's for kids. i get some of the players are young, but that's why the entry level contract players still have to share.

I'm not sure they were most concerned about sleeping when it comes to having their own room.

Some guys probably just lost too many ties and/or socks.
