Default Stanley Cup in Ontario on Sunday, Sept 2nd

I got their around 11:30 too must of been behind you. I thought that they would of set up a meeting room so everyone doesn't have to sit outside for 3 hours in the heat. It went so fast I was like wait I just saw the cup. Wish I had alittle more time to I guess just look at all the names and admire it more because who knows the next time I can see it. I drove from San Diego to go to this and just saw la kings facebook posted a picture showing the cup was in Coronado at hotel del but no event, kind of lame. It was a tease for SD fans.

The Stanley Cup was at the San Manuel Casino for a private event this morning from 10am to 11am. I was one of the 100 people selected to get a picture with the cup. They said no personal cameras. After we all got pictures a few of us hung around and were able to get pictures and stare at the Cup for almost 30. My brother and I were some of the lucky few, about 20 people, that had lots of 1 on 1 time with the cup. We all got to touch, hug, kiss and read the cup without anyone telling us to "move along". We got dozens of pictures and have posted a few on our Facebook page, Mero Games

We called it Mero Games day with the cup. Moment of a lifetime.

Anybody that was at Ontario Ayres, can you please post the link to the online photos. I want to make sure we got the right info to see the professional photo when they are available.

    Thank you

Sounds like they did a good job and got everyone a chance to get their pic.

Default Stanley Cup in Ontario on Sunday, Sept 2nd

I went to the Ontario showing yesterday and it was well done. Stayed in line for about 1/2 hour but they took a picture of my family around the cup and touching it with our own camera. Never thought it would happen, but when I touched the cup I felt a jolt of energy passing through me. It was an awesome experience. Thanks for the opportunity!!

One of the Keepers of the Cup (I've seen him before but don't know his name) told Kenny M that he didn't think they'd get everyone in for a photo, so before they left he was going to walk the line with the Cup so people could at least see it.

We got our pics and went to lunch, and by the time I rode past again it was all over, so I don't know if there were people who didn't get photos with it.

Thank you Ninja_Kat. I did have the right one. But listening to the rep there was like hearing the adults on the Charlie Brown cartoons while the Cup was there.

Completely agree... I arrived at 7am and was 2nd in line. Truly was the best 6 hours spend reminiscing with fellow and passionate Kings fans... exchanging our personal experiences of the Kings' Cup Run. What was priceless was that at about 10am (check out time I assume), the hotel guests started coming out and there was one family in particular who was stunned by how many people were out.. as they were passing us, the made a snide remark "I don't get it.. they are in line for just a Cup?" Amazing...

But it was definitely quick once The Cup arrived... although it may have only lasted 10 seconds.. the picture and the moment were priceless. Once in a lifetime...

I agree rviramo, the commrodorie with other King's fans was very enjoyable. I was in the last segment of the line and heard those rumors about just showing the cup to people in line if time ran out. My son was worried about that and I told him that wouldn't happen unless Ayers hotel wanted a riot on their hands LOL. Anyway, they did have someone cut off the end of the line and I did see 2 people being turned away which made us sad. Hopefully they were still able to go in.
