"Chief Lyle Sayers even said that in all his years as being chief and even being on the council of Garden River this was the proudest day for him.
Jordan brought the cup to the Garden River Rec Centre where he shared it with children, and had balloons released in his honour. He then made his way down the highway to the community centre where he presented it to the elders. The fire chief also presented Jordan with a shirt and a fire helmet that was decorated with the L.A kings logo and his number 71. Jordan also made time to take a photo with everyone who wanted to do so."
